THE TRUTH FOR YOUTH. [Last updated October 31, 2001] The Truth For Youth is great. It's a comic series produced BY Catholics FOR Catholics [straying away from virtue]. Sounds like a good idea to the creators, but sounds like an even greater idea for cynics. The way in which it is carried out is through, yes, comics. And some are good artwise, but the majority of them are steaming piles of holy poo. The old intro from my old site went like this: "Welcome. Ah, The Truth For Youth comics. Quite possibly one of the most entertaining works of illustrated Christian propoganda. The subjects within the comics deal with such topics that are considered bad for Christians as homosexuality, pornography, and, oddly enough, rock music. Through comics that, at some points, look like either bastardized early Marvel comics or drawings that I very well could have done in the third grade without my knowing it, the Truth is preached out for the Youth. Enjoy." There's more to come when Valerie sends my damned holy book back, but here's what's available now.
